These instruments tend to go a tad bit sharp up high, maybe 442, the R13's tend to drop say from 440 to 438. Not much really, but it is noticeable. The Bb/F tonehole is the one directly under the RH2 fingerplate as that's where the notes Bb and F issue directly from. The BD is shorter, with the opening of the curve going to zero more abruptly beyond 15mm from the tip, and it has a stronger curvature just 2-3mm from the tip with the curve flaring more open quite suddenly.The tuning on this instrument is excellent, and can blend very well. The clarinet is very in tune in the clarion and altimisso register, and as others have noted before, thrives in this upper range. It does run a hair sharp in the lower clarion register most notably A and G, but low E is in tune.The Clarinet BBoard.
